The free financial Tools (Tax Regime Optimizer, LTCG Harvester, Freelancer Tax Navigator, CTC Reality Decoder, Rent vs Buy, FIRE planner, EMI & Loan Optimizer, Accounts Workbench) and their AI "explain" feature are educational calculators, not tax, legal, accounting or investment services:

• Outputs depend on your inputs and the assumptions hard-coded in each tool (tax year, slabs, standard deductions, rebate thresholds, cost conventions).
• Indian income-tax rules change with each Finance Act; calculator logic may lag the latest notified law.
• LTCG/tax-harvesting suggestions are generic planning illustrations, not personalised tax advice.
• No tool output creates a professional-client relationship with me.
• For accurate filings, rely on the Income-tax Department's official utilities and consult a qualified chartered accountant.

The website is operated from India and processes digital personal data in India. The compliance posture is summarised below; full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Breach handling: in the event of a personal data breach, the Data Protection Board of India and affected data principals will be notified without delay, with a detailed reference submission made in line with the DPDP Rules, 2025 framework.

5. IT (Intermediary Guidelines & Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021

This website publishes its own content and hosts the listed Tools and Blog; it is not a social-media platform or a large-scale user-generated content service. To the extent the site is an "intermediary" within the meaning of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT Rules, 2021, it observes the following due diligence:

• Grievance redressal mechanism with an accountable officer (below);
• acknowledgement of grievances within 24 hours and disposal within 15 days;
• non-publishing of unlawful content, and compliance with removal directions from competent authorities consistent with Shreya Singhal v. Union of India (court/government-ordered takedown);
• cooperation with law-enforcement authorities on lawful request;
• 24×7 contact point for law enforcement coordination (Nodal Contact Person, below).

6. Copyright, takedown & lawful content

Content is owned by the operator or used with permission (see Terms, section 11). If you believe any content on this website infringes your copyright, intellectual property or other rights, or violates the IT Act / IT Rules (for example, unlawful or prohibited content), you may send a written complaint to the Grievance Officer. Complaints are handled on the 24-hour acknowledgement / 15-day disposal cycle described in section 5. Please include the specific URL(s), a description of the right affected, and proof of the right where reasonably available. I will promptly review the matter and, where a valid claim or lawful direction exists, remove or disable access to the content.

7. Consumer protection statement

The Service is provided free of charge and does not constitute an "e-commerce entity" selling goods or services online. Consequently, there are no prices, refunds, cancellations or delivery terms, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 do not apply in substance. Where any consumer-protection provision of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 nevertheless applies, I comply with it, and user grievances are handled under section 5 above.

8. Advertising & commercial relationships

There is no third-party advertising on this website and no paid sponsorship of content. No content is paid for or influenced by third parties. Endorsements, certifications and credentials shown belong to the stated issuing bodies. If any promotional or affiliate relationship is ever introduced, it will be disclosed prominently on the relevant page in line with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) guidelines and applicable law.

9. e-Filing & digital transactions

No financial value transactions are processed on this website. If payment features are ever introduced, they will be routed through a licensed payment aggregator and this page will be updated with the applicable RBI-related disclosures.

10. Language & accessibility of disclosures

These disclosures are published in English. Under the DPDP Rules, 2025, notices may be required in multiple scheduled languages for certain fiduciaries; given the scale of this website, English is the language provided, and I will respond to any request in Hindi or English. If you require this page in another language, contact me and I will arrange a translation on request.
